Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September 2026
The LT Workwear Wearer Trial Program gives eligible businesses the opportunity to purchase selected workwear for their employees to trial in their normal working environment before placing their first larger order.
The program is designed to allow businesses and their workers to assess the fit, comfort, functionality, durability, quality and suitability of the agreed workwear before making a larger purchasing decision.
1. How the Wearer Trial Works
The LT Workwear Wearer Trial operates as follows:
1. Apply
The business completes the LT Workwear Wearer Trial application form.
2. Review & Approval
LT Workwear reviews the application, proposed products and intended use.
3. Trial Agreement
If approved, LT Workwear will confirm the eligible products, quantities, trial value, trial period and applicable conditions.
4. Agreement Must Be Signed
The Wearer Trial Agreement and these Terms & Conditions must be accepted and signed by the business before the wearer trial can commence.
No trial products will be dispatched until the trial has been approved and the required agreement has been completed.
5. Pay for the Trial
The business pays for the approved trial workwear and all applicable freight costs before the products are dispatched.
6. Conduct the Trial
The approved workers use the agreed workwear during their normal working activities for the agreed trial period.
7. Complete the Feedback
The business completes the Wearer Trial Feedback Form within the agreed timeframe.
8. Place the First Order
Following completion of the trial, the business places its first qualifying order with LT Workwear.
9. Receive the Refund
Once the wearer trial has been successfully completed and the first qualifying order has been placed, LT Workwear will refund the agreed trial workwear amount less the applicable freight costs within 30 days.
2. Wearer Trial Is a Paid Trial
The LT Workwear Wearer Trial is not a free sample program.
The business must purchase and pay for the approved trial workwear in full before the products are dispatched.
The business is also responsible for all freight and delivery costs associated with the wearer trial.
The trial products, quantities and maximum eligible trial value must be approved by LT Workwear before the trial commences.
3. Maximum Wearer Trial Value
The maximum value of workwear eligible for the Wearer Trial refund will be determined and approved by LT Workwear before the trial commences.
The standard maximum trial value will be up to $250 or $500 of agreed trial workwear, depending on the business, products and trial approved.
The applicable maximum value will be confirmed in writing as part of the Wearer Trial Agreement.
Customers cannot independently select products or quantities above the approved trial value and expect the additional amount to be refunded.
Any products purchased outside the approved trial are not eligible for the Wearer Trial refund.
4. Products Must Be Approved Before the Trial
All products included in a Wearer Trial must be specifically approved by LT Workwear before the trial begins.
The following will be confirmed as part of the Wearer Trial Agreement:
Product brand;
Product name;
Product code;
Colour;
Size;
Quantity;
Trial value;
Trial period;
Feedback requirements; and
Maximum refund amount.
The customer must not substitute products, increase quantities or purchase additional products under the assumption that they will automatically qualify for the refund.
Any changes to the approved trial must be agreed to in writing by LT Workwear before the additional products are purchased.
5. Signed Wearer Trial Agreement
A Wearer Trial cannot commence until:
LT Workwear has approved the application;
The trial products and value have been agreed;
The business has accepted these Terms & Conditions; and
The required Wearer Trial Agreement has been signed.
The signed agreement will form part of the Wearer Trial arrangement between LT Workwear and the business.
6. Trial Period
The trial period will be agreed between LT Workwear and the business before the trial commences.
The business must complete the trial within the agreed timeframe.
The business must also submit the completed Wearer Trial Feedback Form within the timeframe specified in the agreement.
If additional time is required, the business must contact LT Workwear before the agreed trial deadline.
LT Workwear may approve an extension at its discretion.
7. Wearer Trial Refund
The business will initially pay the full cost of the approved trial workwear and freight.
Once all of the following conditions have been met:
The approved wearer trial has been completed;
The required feedback has been submitted;
The trial requirements have been satisfied;
The business has placed its first qualifying order with LT Workwear; and
Any other conditions outlined in the signed Wearer Trial Agreement have been met,
LT Workwear will issue a refund for the approved trial workwear amount.
The refund will be made within 30 days of the qualifying first order being placed.
The refund will be calculated as:
Approved Trial Workwear Cost – Freight Costs = Refund Amount
8. Freight Is Not Refundable
Freight and delivery costs are not included in the Wearer Trial refund.
The customer is responsible for:
Initial delivery freight;
Return freight;
Any additional freight;
Redelivery costs; and
Any other freight-related charges.
The customer is always responsible for return freight.
Freight costs will be deducted from the amount otherwise eligible for refund.
For example:
Approved trial workwear: $450
Freight: $25
Refund: $425
The customer is responsible for any return freight costs in addition to the above.
9. First Qualifying Order
The Wearer Trial refund is conditional upon the business placing its first qualifying order with LT Workwear following completion of the trial.
The minimum value or requirements for the qualifying first order will be confirmed by LT Workwear before the wearer trial commences and recorded in the Wearer Trial Agreement.
A first order does not qualify for the refund if it does not meet the agreed requirements.
LT Workwear will confirm the qualifying order requirements before the trial begins so there is no uncertainty for the customer.
10. Refund Limit
The refund is limited to the approved trial workwear value recorded in the Wearer Trial Agreement.
Purchasing additional garments or products does not increase the refund amount.
For example, if LT Workwear approves a trial valued at $500, the maximum refund remains the approved $500 trial value, less applicable freight, regardless of whether the customer purchases additional products during the trial.
11. Feedback Requirements
The business agrees to provide genuine feedback following the trial.
Feedback may include:
Fit;
Comfort;
Sizing;
Movement;
Breathability;
Durability;
Functionality;
Visibility;
Quality;
Performance;
Suitability for the workplace; and
Overall worker satisfaction.
The business is not required to provide positive feedback.
The purpose of the trial is to obtain honest feedback from workers using the products in a real working environment.
12. Failure to Complete the Trial Requirements
If the business fails to complete the agreed wearer trial requirements, LT Workwear may determine that the business is no longer eligible for the refund.
This may include:
Failure to complete the trial;
Failure to submit the feedback form;
Incomplete feedback;
Failure to place the agreed qualifying first order;
Exceeding the agreed trial timeframe without approval;
Failure to comply with the signed Wearer Trial Agreement; or
Failure to otherwise meet the agreed trial conditions.
Where the refund conditions have not been met, the original trial purchase will remain a completed purchase and no refund will be payable.
13. Product Care & Use
Trial products must be used appropriately and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Products must not be intentionally damaged, altered or modified.
Normal wear and tear resulting from reasonable workplace use will not automatically prevent the customer from qualifying for the refund.
LT Workwear reserves the right to review products that have been intentionally damaged, misused, altered or used outside their intended purpose.
14. Customisation & Decoration
Unless specifically approved in writing before the trial commences, the following are not included in the refund:
Embroidery;
Screen printing;
Heat transfers;
Logos;
Alterations;
Customisation;
Personalisation; or
Other decoration or additional services.
Any approved decoration or customisation costs will be clearly identified in the Wearer Trial Agreement.
15. Product Availability
All Wearer Trials are subject to product availability.
LT Workwear cannot guarantee that every requested product, size, colour or quantity will be available.
Where necessary, LT Workwear may recommend an alternative product.
The final approved products will be confirmed before payment and recorded in the Wearer Trial Agreement.
16. No Automatic Approval
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the Wearer Trial Program.
LT Workwear reserves the right to approve or decline applications based on factors including:
Business requirements;
Product suitability;
Product availability;
Intended use;
Trial value;
Trial quantity; and
Availability of the Wearer Trial Program.
LT Workwear may also limit the number of wearer trials offered at any time.
17. No Obligation Beyond the Qualifying First Order
The customer is required to place the agreed qualifying first order in order to receive the Wearer Trial refund.
After that qualifying first order has been placed and the refund conditions have been met, there is no ongoing obligation to purchase additional products from LT Workwear.
18. Cancellation
If the business wishes to cancel the trial before products are dispatched, it must contact LT Workwear as soon as possible.
Once the trial products have been dispatched, cancellation may be subject to the applicable order terms.
Once the trial has commenced, the business must meet the agreed trial requirements to remain eligible for the refund.
19. Refund Processing
Once LT Workwear confirms that:
The wearer trial has been completed;
Feedback has been received;
The qualifying first order has been placed; and
All other agreed conditions have been met,
the refund will be processed within 30 days of the qualifying first order being placed.
The refund will generally be made to the original payment method used for the trial purchase.
The time taken for funds to appear in the customer's account may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
20. Testimonials & Marketing
LT Workwear may invite participating businesses to provide a testimonial or case study following the trial.
Providing a testimonial or participating in marketing is not a condition of receiving the refund.
LT Workwear will obtain appropriate permission before using a business name, logo, photographs or testimonial publicly.
21. Privacy
Information submitted through the Wearer Trial application and feedback forms will be handled in accordance with LT Workwear's Privacy Policy.
Information may be used to assess the trial application, communicate with the business, arrange products, process the refund, obtain feedback and improve LT Workwear's products and services.
22. Changes to the Program
LT Workwear reserves the right to amend, suspend or discontinue the Wearer Trial Program.
Any approved trial that has already commenced will continue to be managed in accordance with the terms agreed with the business and the applicable Wearer Trial Agreement.
23. Acceptance of Terms
By applying for and participating in the LT Workwear Wearer Trial Program, the business confirms that it has read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
